We aim to keep things as planned, but Italy loves a little spontaneity. A vineyard lunch may become a vineyard dinner, or a tasting may be swapped with a seaside stroll. These small shifts are always in service of making your experience even better. The heart of the journey remains unchanged.
Can I bring food home from Italy?
You’ll want to! Most travelers end up stuffing an extra suitcase with olive oil, cheese, wine, or biscotti. Just be sure to check your country’s import rules before boarding your flight—Italy will tempt you with treasures you’ll ache to carry home.
Arrival at Lamezia Terme Sant’Eufemia Airport / SUF, where you will be warmly welcomed by our assistant and escorted to Hotel Rada Siri in Montepaone Lido.
Upon arrival, enjoy a late lunch featuring the finest local ingredients, carefully prepared and paired with excellent Calabrian wine.
The afternoon is yours to unwind: relax by the pool, take a refreshing swim in the sea, or simply rest and soak up the Mediterranean atmosphere.
Dinner with Nonna. As evening falls, a truly special experience awaits: an exclusive show-cooking event with nonna Barbara. Discover the secrets of traditional Calabrian recipes, lovingly passed down through generations, while enjoying generous pours of local wine. Dinner will be a joyful celebration of authenticity, flavour and conviviality.
Breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy a slow, relaxed morning by the beach, basking in the sun and listening to the gentle rhythm of the waves.
Lunch will be a seafood feast served directly on the shore, where the freshest catch meets breathtaking sea views.

Departure to Squillace Medieval Castle Historical Village Piazza for the official opening of the Calabria Food Fest. Set within the evocative atmosphere of the castle, the festival comes alive with live show cookings, wine and amaro tastings, and an abundance of outstanding local food. Till night.

This morning, discover one of Calabria’s most spectacular beaches: Caminia, renowned for its dramatic cliffs, turquoise waters and postcard-perfect scenery. Swim in emerald-green waters, enjoy a pedalo ride, or simply relax along the shoreline.
A delicious seafood lunch will be served directly on the beach, accompanied by the soothing sound of the sea. Later, explore the enchanting San Gregorio Caves, where nature has sculpted a truly breathtaking landscape.
In the evening, return to Squillace for the exclusive Gala Dinner of the Calabria Food Fest. An extraordinary monastery-style communal table will stretch across the entire piazza in front of the Duomo of Squillace, reserved exclusively for festival guests.
Expect an unforgettable celebration of gastronomy and wine at their absolute peak, set against a magical historic backdrop.

Begin the day with a scenic transfer from the Ionian coast to the Tyrrhenian coast, heading towards the iconic town of Tropea.
Upon arrival, take a refreshing swim at the famous Michelino Beach, where crystal-clear turquoise waters invite pure relaxation.
Afterwards, enjoy a seafood spaghetti lunch on the beach, immersed in Tropea’s lively and sun-drenched atmosphere.
As the day draws to a close, savour a sunset dinner at Cantine Masicei, where traditional local dishes are beautifully paired with fine regional wines.
