RiciclArt invites you to spend an extraordinary week where art merges with local culture, traditional cuisine, and fun! Join us for an innovative contemporary art project in the breathtaking landscapes of Calabria. Together, we’ll recover and transform everyday objects and materials into meaningful works of art under the guidance of four talented artists, carefully selected for their expertise in this art form and community-based workshops.

We start with a warm welcome! Discover your new home and the workshop, the hub of creativity and friendly gatherings with our artist tutors and community members. A welcome aperitif will allow you to savor delicious Calabrian dishes!

After a typical breakfast, we explore the picturesque village of Torre di Ruggiero. We gather scrap materials, pieces of wood, and forgotten fabrics, transforming abandoned treasures into works of art. We meet locals and listen to their stories. The day ends with a communal dinner and a lesson in tarantella dance. 

After a breakfast rich in local flavors, we continue our artistic project in the workshop, exchanging ideas with artists and participants. The afternoon is dedicated to traditional games, creating authentic bonds with the locals. The day closes with a communal dinner, reflecting on the moments shared. 

 We start the day with a typical breakfast. In the workshop, we meet master artisans who reveal the secrets of ceramics. We discover traditional techniques and the stories behind their works. The afternoon is dedicated to a pasta-making lesson with the local women, followed by a communal dinner. 

We begin with an alternative breakfast at a shepherd's home, learning about the production of ricotta and cheese. We work with ricotta by hand, tasting local delicacies. The day continues with open workshop time, creating artistic works under the guidance of artist tutors. Dinner and overnight stay.

 After breakfast, we dive into a fascinating meeting with an expert iconographer and local artists. We discover the meanings of traditional symbols and how Calabrian culture influences their art. This is followed by creative workshop time. Dinner and overnight stay. 

After breakfast, we dedicate the day to refining our artistic creations. The evening concludes with a farewell dinner, enriched by live music that invites everyone to dance and celebrate together.
